Halo: Combat Evolved is a first-person shooter for the original Xbox from the Halo franchise. The campaign follows humanity’s fight against the Covenant after surviving forces are stranded on the ancient ring-world known as Halo.

This first Halo entry was followed by Halo 2, which expanded the series with dual-wielding, new Covenant perspectives, and Xbox Live multiplayer.
